Discipleship making pathway

The mission of Harvest City Church is to make disciples who make disciples, advancing the kingdom of God. We have developed a very simple yet effective and intentional "pathway" to take followers of Jesus from sharing the good news of Jesus, to meeting with interested onlookers, to discipling others, to living in deep community and relationship with men and women committed to following the way of Jesus.

Interested in Jesus? Discover discipleship

If you just recently shared Jesus with a coworker, neighbor, family member, friend or stranger but they did not commit to following Jesus, but were interested and willing to meet up and learn more, then this is for you! Our Discover Discipleship is a 9 lesson study that uncovers the hope that is available to all people who put their trust in Jesus. The goal throughout Discover Discipleship is to meet up two times per week, and by the end, have the disciplee place their faith in Jesus.

For those who have just recently started following Jesus, or have been following Jesus for some time but have never been discipled, then this is for you! Our Immediate Discipleship is a 9 lesson study that reveals what a life in relationship with Jesus looks like. The goal throughout Immediate Discipleship is to meet up once or twice per week, and intentionally go Into the Harvest together once out of every four meetups. Immediate Discipleship is designed to take followers of Jesus deeper into their obedience and life of devotion to His Word through community and relationships.

already following Jesus? long term discipleship

No one ever outgrows discipleship. It is a lifelong journey of growing in relationship to Jesus with others. If someone has been through Discover Discipleship and/or Immediate Discipleship (both topical studies), then it is a great time to start Long Term Discipleship, where you will read through books of the Bible together and equip and encourage each other towards multiplication. The goal throughout Long Term Discipleship is to meet up once a week together (and once a week with a disciplee, taking them through Discovery or Immediate Discipleship). Ensure you intentionally go Into the Harvest together once out of every four meetups.

If you have noticed, each Discipleship session ends in a time to practise through an equipping tool that Holy Spirit can use to help you and grow you in your relationship with Jesus, which we pray bears fruit in discipleship and multiplication. Here is each individual tool for your to use.
